 Students at AMR.TC have been given the chance to become real actors by working in the Write to Reply project. This project started in February 2001 and will last three years. There are 30 students in year 10 and some in year 9. They visited the Globe Theatre last year and are hoping to visit again this year.
The aim of the project is:
-to encourages young people to use their imaginations for productions.
-To encourage young people to develop and improve their writing skills.
 
Mr. Hanlon, Head of English, says ‘‘I expect to finish the project in the summer time 2004’’

If the students do well in this project it will help them to get an A* in their GCSE.

Other schools from Southwark were involved in this project.
