Southwark Muslim Council is not an exclusively religious organisation. It conducts social, cultural, educational, sports and recreational activities in the London Borough of Southwark. Our organisation takes account of the cultural needs of the Muslims whose roots are deep in the faith of Islam. AIMS AND OBJECTS 1. To promote unity amongst Muslims 2. To organise activities in furtherance of Islam, education, culture, sports and social welfare of Muslims and other communities; 3. To co-operate with other communities in the aforesaid activities; 4. To improve the quality of life of older people in the community ------------------------------------------------------ We are running a homework club at weekends for children aged 8 to 16 years. Please bring your schoolwork or homework and your eagerness to learn. We have both an English and Math teacher to help you reach your goals. We are also holding a multi-ethnic club 12pm - 2pm on Saturdays and Sundays All these weekend events are free ------------------------------------------------------ Southwark Muslim Over 50s Social Luncheon Club on Sundays from 1:30pm - 3pm. Halah food available. £2 per person.
