 Year Two at the Globe

For the whole of the year (2003/04) classes Two and Five have been taken part in a SmartZone led education project with the Globe Theatre. They have worked with both actors and officials to pay homage to the most famous playwrite of them all, William Shakespeare.

Based on the play Romeo and Julliet, the children have had the oppourtunity to work with real actors in improvising, rehearsing and performing scenes from the famous play. A group of the children also had a fantastic oppourtunity to visit Verona, the setting for the play.
