In November 2003 a management consultant company named Marakon generously gave up their time to visit both of our Year Six classes to discuss the world of work.
Among the various topics Marakon covered were career choices and interview techniques. The children found the latter activities especially enjoyable as they got to play both interviewer and prospective employee.
The children were also fascinated to hear about some of the Marakon team's previous jobs, including a translator at Heathrow Airport and also a soldier.
