MIRROR SACKING BUT ...
So, Piers Morgan goes and the anti-war movement shoots itself in the foot. (One hopes the right wing press will not gloat.)
Poor judgment on his part, wanted to see material that supported his own worldview perhaps. Such is the rush to judgement on the part of others that someone even asked on Radio Four on Friday evening whether he, Piers Morgan, should be tried for treason.
The Government says the pictures are false, and they don't look good, it has to be said.
Equally, this is our Government that trampled on nothing less than International Law in its pre-emptive invasion of Iraq and now manfully admits that many do not agree with the action whilst carrying right on, "shoulder to shoulder" and "in harm's way".
How I hate these sugar-coated drops of craft-spun rhetoric. The intention to manipulate my emotions with these weedling calls to partiotic 'rush' sticks in my gullet.
And what an ally for Blair in his Godly crusade, a nation that champions Freedom with Guantanamo Bay ! How pusillanimous, to place that dastardly camp beyond the reach of even their own Law. A clearer portrait of Democrary western-style we could not have. (For western read PNAC-Texan ranch.)
