Sustainable suburbs (from Bellenden Residents Group) Date: Monday 05 Sep 2005 From: residents.bellenden@ntlworld.com
Dear local residents, traders, and others interested in Peckham:
Groundwork Southwark has asked for our help in a study they are conducting in Peckham as part of a Greater London Authority and London Development Agency exercise in how to make London's Suburbs more sustainable, in line with the Mayor of London's strategies. Southwark's 'suburb' for this pilot project is Peckham. The study is working with local 'stakeholders' on issues relating to the area.
This is an important project and all we need to do to take part is respond to the questions below. Just delete either the YES or the NO in each question and give your comments in relation to each of them, and click reply. We will send on your email to Rebecca Towers at Groundwork Southwark who will be compiling the report. Or you can also contact her direct:- see her details at the end of this email.
As a network of local residents and others who have been thinking and working together to improve Peckham, let's hope we can get lots of responses to this questionnaire. Reply by 16 September.
Many thanks
Bellenden Residents' Group
