Shireen Ijoyah lives in Nunhead with her three teenage children. She won a Skillset Millenium Award for Media in 2003. As part of the award she received free training with the BBC in the use of digital cameras.
Shireen enjoys working in the community and decided to make a video called ‘New Peckham’. New Peckham looks into how Peckham has changed with the new buildings which have recently gone up, and especially into the effect on children of these changes. She has joined Southwark.tv as a film maker and will be making more community films which will be shown on Southwark.tv’s site. Keep watching.
